Founding 100 Terms
Last updated: 2026-06-07
Privian is in beta. This page describes our current practices and policies in plain language. Material updates will be noted here and on /updates.
The Privian Founding 100 program offers a limited-quantity lifetime deal ("LTD") on the current Privian product. These terms describe what is and is not included. They are in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and quantity
The Founding 100 is limited to the first 100 paying customers who purchase while the program is open. Privian may close the program once capacity is reached.
2. What the LTD includes
- Lifetime access to the current Privian gateway and AI Security Layer feature set, including masking, BYOK routing, observability and the standard governance features documented at the time of purchase.
- Founding-priced access for as long as your account remains in good standing and the program rules are followed.
- Customer support through standard channels (email at support@privian.io).
3. What the LTD does not include
- LLM provider costs. Privian is BYOK — you pay your model providers (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) directly under your own provider agreements. The Founding 100 has no effect on provider pricing.
- Unlimited usage. Fair-use and plan-level request caps continue to apply and may be adjusted to keep the service sustainable. Caps applicable to the Founding 100 are documented on /pricing.
- Future products that are not part of the current Privian gateway feature set are not automatically included, unless we explicitly promise inclusion in writing. Privian may launch new products on separate commercial terms.
- Custom enterprise commitments (uptime SLAs, dedicated support, custom contracts) are not included by default and may be available under separate agreement.
4. BYOK requirement
The Founding 100 requires Bring Your Own Key access to your chosen model providers. Privian does not resell model access. You are responsible for the security, validity and rotation of your provider credentials.
5. Fair use and abuse
The Founding 100 is intended for genuine, customer-led use of Privian. We may suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abusive patterns — including resale of gateway access to third parties, automated traffic designed to circumvent caps, or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Transferability
Founding 100 access is granted to a single customer account. It is not transferable to another individual or legal entity without Privian's prior written consent. Reasonable changes of legal entity within the same organization may be approved on request.
7. Refunds
A discretionary refund may be requested within a reasonable period after purchase by emailing support@privian.io. Statutory consumer-protection rights, where they apply, are not affected by this clause.
8. Sunset and migration
Privian aims to operate the Founding 100 in good faith for the long term. We reserve the right to migrate the technical implementation of the gateway, change underlying infrastructure, or, where required by law, contractual obligation, or material commercial change, sunset the program with reasonable advance notice. Where this happens, we will work in good faith to preserve equivalent value for Founding 100 customers, including through migration to a comparable plan.
9. Scope of these terms
These Founding 100 terms supplement the Terms of Service. Where there is a direct conflict on a Founding 100 matter, these terms control. In all other respects, the Terms of Service apply.
