This page describes how Privian handles data on its public website (privian.io). Privian is in beta. We try to be conservative, transparent and technical about what we collect.
Analytics on public marketing pages
On our public marketing pages, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4VQ3V9JBTR) to understand which pages people visit, where traffic comes from and what content is most useful. This helps us improve the site.
- Analytics is disabled by default. We only load Google Analytics after you accept analytics in the consent banner.
- If you reject, we do not load Google Analytics and we do not send any page views or events.
- We use Google Consent Mode v2. Ad-related signals (
ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalization) are always denied. We do not run ads. - Analytics cookies and similar storage may be set by Google after you accept. Google may process this data according to its own terms.
- You can change your decision at any time using in the footer. Switching from accepted to rejected stops further analytics page views and events immediately.
Where analytics runs
Analytics runs only on public marketing pages, for example: the home page, /pricing, /products, /solutions, /resources, /docs, /glossary, /updates, /api-reference, /llm-security and /ai-security-layer.
Analytics is not loaded on private surfaces such as login, signup, the authenticated dashboard, settings, admin pages or API endpoints.
What we track when consent is granted
- Page views on public pages.
- Clicks on a small number of key CTAs (for example: Get Started, View Docs, Pricing CTAs, View Architecture, View Security).
- Standard request metadata collected by Google Analytics (anonymised IP handling, device class, referrer, UTM parameters).
We do not send personal data, prompts, API keys or content from your Privian account to analytics.
The Privian product (gateway)
This privacy policy covers the marketing website. The Privian gateway itself is designed around BYOK and prompt-level data protection. Architecture and security details are documented in /resources/architecture and /resources/security.
